Amid the upheaval caused by the International Armed Conflict between Russia and Ukraine, millions have found themselves uprooted, marking the most significant humanitarian crisis in Europe since World War II. Since the inception of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Friesio Foundation has been at the forefront of humanitarian response, standing alongside those who’ve been forced to leave their homes.
Enter the Hakuna Matata Residence, a sanctuary of hope and healing. It is our answer to the dire needs of Ukrainians displaced across Europe. From immediate humanitarian relief and emergency assistance in Ukraine and neighbouring regions to comprehensive, long-term programs aimed at the integration and well-being of Ukrainian refugees, this project stands as a symbol of compassion.
Our efforts touch the lives of internally displaced individuals, Ukrainian refugees, particularly traumatised families with disabled children, and refugees of other nationalities who have been displaced by the conflict in Ukraine. In these challenging times, the Hakuna Matata Residence will serve as a sanctuary of hope, offering support and solace to those who need it most.
