Zafar Iqbal
Zafar Iqbal is a prominent figure in the social sector of Pakistan, known for his dedication to development and welfare initiatives.
Graduating from the University of Agriculture Faisalabad in 2001, he embarked on a journey of impactful projects with development sector organizations before founding his own organization, The NGO World Foundation, in 2010.
Under his leadership, the foundation has made significant strides in networking and capacity building within the NGO sector, implementing sustainable development projects, responding to humanitarian disasters, and carrying out welfare projects, benefiting over 1.5 million individuals to date.
His influence extends beyond organizational borders; Zafar Iqbal serves as a goodwill ambassador for World NGO Day in Pakistan, orchestrating events that foster collaboration among NGOs and recognizing outstanding social workers with SWERA awards.
He actively engages with youth in universities to inspire the establishment and operation of social enterprises.
Furthermore, his commitment to amplifying success stories and addressing issues within the NGO sector led to the launch of “The NGO World” magazine.
