Danuka Sirinama
Danuka is a life coach, motivational speaker and a philanthropist with over 25 years of experience in the private sector and the government education sector.
He obtained his CHSD from Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism Hotel Management, Colombo and holds a Diploma in Journalism and Mass Communication from University of Colombo, a Media Diploma from the International Media Academy and a Diploma in Counseling Psychology.
He has collaborated with National Human Resource Development Council (NHRDC) under the Ministry of Policy Planning, Economic Affairs Child Youth & Cultural Affairs & Ministry of Education, and Local governments (Provincial Level) to educate youth on building successful careers
He was the former Head of Marketing Publicity & Promotions for the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka, The only National Professional Management Institute in Sri Lanka which incorporated by anAct of Parliament in 2009, a Member of the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA), A member of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) a Member of the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants (CAPA)
Danuka served as the Head of Media and Public Relations for the Sri Lankan country office of Perfect Relations in India – one of the South Asia’s largest brand management, public relations and communications consulting firm. He offered consulting services for USAID- United States Agency for International Developments, UNDP- United Nations Development Program, SARIE- South Asia Regional Initiatives for Energy, SAREC- South Asia Initiatives for Energy Coalitions, Discovery India, NEB India and World Vision Sri Lanka.
He was a part of the advisory board for media and public relations at the Center for Mass Development in the Colombo region and has also worked as a Project Director for the Center for Mass Community Development & Co-Existence (CCDC). Danuka headed the team at the Consortium of Humanitarian Agencies in Colombo as a Career Counselor. He also served as a member of the advisory board for the Higher National Diploma Management Committee of the Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education which comes under the Ministry of Higher Education.
Currently, Danuka is holding office as a director for Siliconcrib (Pvt) Ltd. He is the Co-founder and Channel Consultant for I-TV – The first ever Provincial educational YouTube channel initiated with the collaboration of the Central Province Educational Department. He is also the director of EduOne Consultants – the first ever private sector career guidance and counseling organization initiated in Western Province, He is also the President of the Bring Back Foundation a charity Oragnisation, He is the Communications Director for NCW Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, Australia & Sri Lanka, and appointed as the Chief Coordinator for Global Youth Leaders Network, Asian Region covering 48 Countries which operating & headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Danuka also a well-known TV personality where he has contributed as a presenter in a myriad of TV shows and gained popularity among the youth. in Sri Lanka. He is a bilingual Narrator, Dubbing Artist, Communicator & a Lyricist and has touched the hearts of many young people who are struggling to develop both their career and personal life. He has facilitated more than 1000 workshops during the past 10 years and has influenced more than 100,000 youth across various parts of the island.
